Partnerships

We are extremely proud of the partnerships that bind us with our longtime partners, the producers of fruits and vegetables. They invest generously in their orchards and vegetable gardens to help us provide the best raw materials in accordance with the laws of nature. We would like to present some of them because without them our Eko Vrelo products would not be as healthy and delicious:
  

 Mr. IVO ZELIĆ, FROM THE SMALL TOWN OF PETRIJEVCI

In the village called Petrijevci grows a ten-year orchard from the fairytale. A patchwork of apple varieties is a balm for the eyes. Intertwined among the branches juicy fruits from Elstar, Gala, Golden Delicious, Idared, Granny Smith and Pink grow in the apple tree tops. On 3,27 hectares 9.000 apple trees grow.

Mr. Ivo Zelić is a proud owner of that orchard. With support from his family, he manages to grow more than 50 tons of apples per hectare. His sons, Matko and Matej, and his daughter Tea, have been his most faithful supporters. The entire family participates in the harvests that take place from mid August to beginning of November.

Mr. Ivo receives a lot of help from the residents of Petrijevci as he has been the Mayor of Petrijevci for the last 18 years. His workday takes him between 12 and 16 hours and on Sundays he likes to relax.

Eko Vrelo’s cooperation with Mr. Zelić lasts for 7 years. We plan to intensify that cooperation since Mr. Zelic will be extended his orchard for an additional 3,3 hectares. Then it will become an even more beautiful fairy tale.
