What is the difference between a 100% natural juice and a juice made of 100% natural concentrate? Often, one can see on the packaging a sign that a products contains «100% natural juice made of fruits or vegetables».

To obtain a 100% natural juice, fruits and vegetables have to be processed in such a way that they are firstly pressed, and then the juice is pasteurized and finally bottled. This allows the juice to keep all the „life“ingredients from fresh fruits and vegetables. By „life“ ingredients, we primarily think of the numerous vitamins, minerals, acids and most importantly the „living water“ or „aqua viva“ that is extracted from the fruit and vegetable cells. On the other hand, a juice made from concentrate is fundamentally different in its processing method. The biggest difference is precisely the absence of the „living water“or „aqua viva“. This is due to the heating process that eliminates by evaporation all the water from the pressed fruit juice. Thereafter, the juice from concentrate is being produced by adding spring or tap water to the concentrate. Unfortunately, the „aqua viva“cannot be restored in the 100% natural juices from concentrate simply because most valuable virtues have been lost in the heating and evaporation process.
